Interesting Sightings on Coos Bay Line

While driving from Coos Bay to Eugene today, I saw signs of track improvement. There was a 3 man crew working a switch between Coos Bay and North Bend. Many new ties layed along the tracks between Florence and Mapleton. New ballast west of Eugene. Rails appeared shinny west of Eugene also.
