Just checked out UP 9900 at Redding seems our tax payer dollars funded it through Prop 1 (there are stickers pasted on the unit stating as such) . It looks as if the DPF's are housed in the mid ship blister, Must have an afterburner as it requires ULSD diesel as it's sisters do not. There are actually stickers applied around the locomotive stating that it must only be fueled in California (Kaliforniastan) :).
