Speeders return to the Virginia and Truckee Railroad on Saturday, October 6th.Come and enjoy vintage Speeders traveling from Eastgate to Virginia City and return. The group will follow the steam train out of eastgate at 10:00 AM, following the fire patrol Speeders up the hill. The excursion will ruturn to Eastgate with the steam train around 4:30. Come out and meet the speeder operators, and get a close up look at them. Ride the train and watch as the Fire Patrol Speeders battle 4 percent grades while pulling Fire Patrol pushcars. Enjoy mild fall weather for this exciting day on the rails over one of the most historic line's on the west coast.
