It's not rumored- it's true. VC Ry No. 2 is "on location" for a movie shoot- and with a half dozen finely painted heavyweight cars; all from Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris, Calif... Directed by Mr. Eastwood and Co. with other main names... and yes, Perris ain't close! Steam will be undoubtedly assisted by diesel on return. It will have to traverse the San Bernardino Sub from San Bernardino to Highgrove- then begin its climb up Box Springs canyon. Unless it is perhaps the Metrolink platform in San Berdoo, the track belongs to BNSF. Unless it is spotted up on the Redlands Industrial Lead; which, for the most part, now belongs to SCRRA (Metrolink)
