I agree, they are pretty big. Actually, this was the only time I got to see one up close and moving.

Those SF 6N bogies have wheels are 49" in diameter according to:

Siemens Bogie Catalog

Seeing three axle trucks there on newer locomotives was a sight! I do like the look of them!
