Trainyard switching, within the Switching Limits of Mormon Yard (Stockton). Mobile trailer yard office account depot burned down several years ago. Three shifts of yard jobs, one hauler to Mormon and an interchange track for the Sierra Railroad. BNSF through-freight pick-ups and setouts. Local turnaround point for Fresno. Amtrak used to stop here, but moved to a new depot a couple of miles east nearly a decade ago. It's a pretty laid back affair. Fairly good photo opportunities for the diligent. Santa Fe drive parallels the mainline in several locations, both east and west of the yard. Nice girder bridge over the river west of the yard by about a half mile or so. There's a public park there and might make for a few interesting photos. CP Stanisluas used to be west of that bridge.
