Gonna go with Tom on this one. Heading west from Osier, the RR follows the side of Osier Mountain and into the Rio de Los Pinos valley. The climb in that stretch is probably little more than 100 feet.

The railroad really starts to climb from Los Pinos west towards Cumbres.
