The vocal reaction in Seattle-King County has been to forecast a broad range of disasters; anything and everything to produce ink (that will be picked up by the local Fourth Estate)

Same act, every time. Varying levels of success.

The Burke-Gillman trail, Ballard to Lake Sammamish is one of the greatest. Some bridges still in use. Maps available.

The current battle is on the East side of Lake Sammamish, to Issaquah.
