The photo of the Schnabel car was taken in the eighties. The pontoon bridge was the one seen in It's A Mad, Mad, Mad World. The bridge was built by the Navy during WWII and was supposed to be temporary, but lasted over 20 years. Many people drove off the bridge over the years.
