It was 2x1 from Spokane - Eugene when I saw it near Portland. Eugene usually re-builds them 4x4x2 as all units are needed to for the climb up the Cascades. All are used for dynamic braking as well. Slowing a 13,000+ ton grain train can get tricky on the Cascade and Shasta Routes. Currently this train is in Klamath Falls.
