The following comes from the time book of SP Coast Division engineman Walter Johnson and depicts his time spent in work train service out of Surf, first on MK-6 3264 and then on Consolidations 2752 and 2733. He was with engineer A. McGrew all month.

I spotted one mistake here on hours claimed. I only hope that none of mine have crept in here!

Also of note, engine 2733 was one of only 2 SP 2-8-0 types to ever have a 12-wheel tender. 2-8-2 3264 was a Coast Division stalwart and worked the King City Local in the last couple years of steam. She was moved to San Jose in either late '55 or early '56, but might not have ever seen service again.
