Always nice looking at his work. Many of his negatives can be viewed on the Library of Congress' website, but these two pictures look enhanced, or certainly really cleaned up since I last visited the Library's website...perhaps that's Shorpy's doing. Thanks for sharing. By the way, he made several photographs of the ice facility, where the B Yard is today.

Jack Delano's trip seemed to start in the midwest, and ended in Southern California, but I cannot recall seeing any of his work from the Los Angeles area, and it would have been great if he was able to photograph the PERy through San Bernardino and out to Redlands. At that time, the entire Inland Empire was thick with the citrus industry, and that would have been well within the Farm Services Administration's scope of photographic documentation. Maybe there is some of that out there, but I have not looked too hard.
