THIS IS WHERE ALL YOU GREENIES ARE WRONG. Clean diesels emit way more NOX emmisions than diesels of the past and get way worse fuel economy. Which was the two target problems the greenies were after back in the 80's. NOX kills tree's but just as the engine manufactures had all but figured this out CARB went on their Idling EVIL Diesels kill Babies campaign and we all of a sudden had to trap particulates and those particulates had to be burned creating more NOX. Carb then had to pay for their exsistance and got flax from ripping of the Kommiefornia schools,so then came the taxes, fines, and such. So at the end of the day CARB keeps giving extensions for dirty diesels, so they can make a profit off Kommiefornia bussiness so they can keep paying the lush salaries of it's employees.

Why do they target KA bussinesses well simple. If you taxed the public the crazy amount of money CARB demands you would have revolt and the political landscape would change.

Do you know Carb inspecters get paid well over 100 K a year to inspect engines. All they do is put on resperator and ask an employee of the compant they are auditing to start the engine to see if it smokes. If it smokes pay fine if it does'nt smoke pay for inspectors time. If carb were run by the Mafia the FBI would be investigating them for extortion
