No...Ben took that photo immediately east of the old Palisade townsite...either come in from I-80 Palisade exit (dirt road into the townsite from the north) or go to Carlin and take the Eureka highway to the turnoff into Palisade, take the road over the top of the tunnels...the two roads in will come together just before the crossing into the old townsite. Continue through the old townsite to the east end. There is a grade crossing right at the east side of the townsite, Ben took this photograph not far east of the crossing (you can just see the road to the left of the #844).
