I'm going to have to go along with Margaret on this one. The reason? I rode that passenger equipment with 4449 from San Jose to Sacramento (110 degree temperature) and back and it was in 1992. I believe the event was called "Steamfest". 4449 had a day off and 2479 took some trips from San Francisco to San Jose and back with 4449's Daylight consist including Doyles articulated coach as well as "Yes Dear". Had it been CalTrain equipment I might not have responded to the date of 1993.
