As a commercial truck driver, I am more than happy to have a boring winter. It sure beats the thrills of watching the SUV crowd, who just know they are invincible because of 4WD, do their Peggy Fleming imitations on Interstate 5 !!! Then,... Ha - Ha, they look up at me in my chained - up Peterbilt like I'm gonna be Mr. Nice Guy & help 'em. HAHAHAHA... Hell, I get around better in my 2WD Chevy Pickup with chains that they do with 4WD and Head - Up - Ass disease.
The worst offenders, though, are those damn Metro Buses with their F@*#!^g cable chains, which they throw or break within the first few miles. The Articulated buses are by far the worst of the worst, with the drive axle behind the articulation joint to push them into a jack - knife. I'll take a boring winter any time...
