NTSB Announces Agenda for the Goodwell, OK Rail Investigative Hearing

Today, the National Transportation Safety Board announced the final agenda for the Goodwell, OK investigative hearing that will convene at 9:00 am (EST) on February 26, 2013.
Seven witnesses will provide the Board and the public insight into the ongoing investigation of the 2012 head-on collision involving two Union Pacific trains near Goodwell. Additionally, the NTSB will gather information on Union Pacific’s safety management policies and programs associated with human error, operational accident and incident data collection, the use of that data to improve safety, and the current status of PTC implementation.
At the start of the hearing, the public docket will be opened. Included in the docket are photographs, interview transcripts, maintenance records, and numerous other documents.
