WRIX is Western Rail of Airway Heights (near Spokane) Washington. I believe this was one of roughly a half dozen T-2's that were de-turboed and the wide turbo exhaust stack was
replaced with two round stacks with spark arrestors. POVA railway shops do the work and have found a way to get the twin exhaust stacks into the original space rather than one
stack on each end of the dynamic brake grids as is on a factory SD-38-2. They are considered SD-38-2's at this point by WRIX.
