Wreck at Shafter NV steam era

Talking to a retired WP man I learned of a steam era wreck at Shafter NV on the diamond with the Nevada Northern. 1930s. Evidently a N and N freight had the diamond blocked (probably switching) when a Westbound WP freight coming down off the hill plowed right through the N and N freight. Does anyone know of anymore details of this event?
