UP 1983 and...

Was anyone able to "catch and release" UP SD70ACe #1983 (the Western Pacific heritage unit) while it was in the Pacific Northwest?

I spotted it twice within the past couple weeks on the UP Kenton Line in northeast Portland, first as the second unit on a westbound stack train at CP Kenton, then as the lead unit on an eastbound autorack train at CP Cully, waiting for a westbound manifest to clear so that it could head east. Unfortunately, I wasn't in a position to photograph it.

As for the and..., I've seen a UP train coming in and out of Portland that is solid gondolas, and I don't know what it carries. I think it originates at one of the industries along the Kenton Line. Can anyone shed some light on this?
