I live a half mile from the curve where it turns 90° towards the east and starts up the grade toward the mountain cut and tunnel. The tunnel has collasped and filled by dirt over the years. The cut in the mountain is still as it was the day they stopped construction, just added brush. The grade east of hwy 138 is now a county road. The ROW west of hwy 138 is on private property and is used as a road.
