Re: UP Re-Routes over Stampede Pass??

Don't know if it's congestion or trackwork on the UP side of the Gorge or on the Ayer Sub south of Spokane. Caught word of one of them coming into Spokane off BNSF earlier this week, described on the radio as a "detour," being routed onto the former SI to Eastport. Been very busy on the SI lately, too. Pretty common to see a northbound have to meet three or four southbounds in one trip. Dark territory, TWC, hand-throw turnouts.
