Ah....the Chicken Factory! If that place was plunked down in the middle of where the chicken eaters actually live, you can bet the opposition to factory farming would go off of the charts. I used to live just a mile down wind from two large cattle feedlots, but the smell off of those smelled like roses compared to the chicken farm near Beatrice. I used to work with truck drivers who used to haul chicken feather meal from these places, and it was used in animal feed. They said that the feather meal was absolutely the worst smelling thing they ever hauled.
