Great little advertising film! Loved it.

As for the air horn, I have heard about the studies before. But in the film the horn is heard every time the train passes - whether or not there's a crossing present. So I suspect it was recorded once then cut into the sound track whenever the head end of the train is seen because people expect to hear something when a train goes by.
