Yes and no...

Railroad has been out of service for close to a decade now. About a mile and a half of track in and around Martell has been salvaged. Sierra Pacific Industries conveyed the remaining railroad to the Amador County Historical Society and Recreational Railroad Coalition Historical Society.

The line is today only being used for organized recreational speeder runs.
