The videos were taken over 10 years ago, and a look at more recent videos shows that many cars in Brazil are tagged, but not to the extent in the U.S. Not as many affluent kids with disposable income to buy spray paint. I used to buy Montana Gold spray paint at an art store in downtown Portland. It was all kept locked up, and I had to verbally promise to the clerk that I was not going to use the paint for tagging. I can remember when the only graffiti tags were seen in the barrios of SoCal. What is really disgusting is that you see it in Europe on such things as medieval fountains and the Lisbon trams.
