The Starlight does not switch Wayne's spur in Salinas. Private cars are cut off the Starlight during the regular Salinas station stop. The Starlight then departs, leaving the PV(s) on the main. A UP local is pre-arranged to arrive after the Starlight departs and take the PV(s) to his spur a few miles south of the former SP station.
