Extra "Cascades" Service

Heard a news report this morning that Amtrak and Washington DOT will add a third "Cascades" train north of Seattle in response to the colapse of the I-5 Skagit River bridge. This train would be a Seattle-Bellingham round trip.

Equipment, most likely, would be one of the Amtrak- or WSDOT-owned TALGO sets. This would mean bringing one or both of the new ODOT-owned sets online early to fill out the fleet to cover the other runs.
