Ya right! - us railfans have some magic influence over this issue. And of course, if we don't talk nice, you'll take all our juvenile toys away. So you want nice - here goes!

Actually, we all must thank you for the compliment of thinking us railfans actually do matter. Or should we beware of of the flattery.

Most uninvolved citizens still don't really care. Those who's actions and money were supporting it before are still supporting it. Those who were opposed are still opposed; but like most extremists, have now managed only to out-shrill themselves, egocentrically believing they have any more say than those nasty sexist railfans.

Railroad commerce is a federal matter and not subject to peavy local whims; whether they come from city hall, railfans, or the mobocracy that is today's enviromentalism; or even from women obviously sexist themselves.
