There are currently only two Comet coaches in Oakland, plus a Horizon diner painted in Amtrak California colors. Then, four Amfleet cars (3 coaches, one cafe)showed up. It seems like Caltrans wanted enough cars to run a low-level consist, so Amfleet cars were brought in because there wouldn't be enough Comet cars for awhile. Still, it's all been sitting in Oakland for several weeks now, and nothing's gone anywhere yet. Cabbage car 90218 did make a few trips on #712/717 a few weeks ago, but nothing since.
