The copy of the 1910 news article is priceless as are some of the comments.

"If perchance we get the iron horse to come thru these parts who knows what could be next for our area? Lanterns that run without whale blubber? Picture shows with sound? I've even heard tales of wires that people get messages through from miles away! These are exciting times my good Humboldt citizens"
