The original Phoenix Iron Works was located between 13th and 14th Streets in West Oakland (evicted from there for new I-880 freeway) not this photo location.

The photograph was taken at their second location at what became lofts at 737 2nd Street as you enter the Jack London Square Area. The brick building above the first boxcar in the consist is now lofts sine 2000.
