Yup. By the time I came along (1972), the only rail traffic at NAS was a little bit of outbound scrap. The Naval Supply Center on the Estuary just west of the tubes was still a big customer for SP, however.

Was the 44-tonner still there then, Wes? I don't remember seeing it.
