Hey if there's a con air...there's a con rail ;-) Seems like the Genesee Wyoming is an outfit that wants to have a good neighbor rep with the communities that are on the old Rail America properties it's acquired. I saw an article recently that reps from Lindsay met with the GenWy and felt it was a pretty positive meeting. sounds like the RR wants to have a go at rebuilding traffic up in the area. The reps of the town warned them that RA did a good job scaring off business though. They seem more interested in running railroads then ripping them up for scrap, but we shall see!
