An article in Friday's Seattle P - I newspaper mentions plans by the winery to move their Woodenville operations to Sunnyside ( Yakima Valley ) next April. Rent increase & costs to haul grapes to the present winery ( from Yakima Valley ) stated as reasons why.The article specifically states that loss of Dinner Train crowds was NOT a factor in the move. This could fatally impact plans to relocate the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train to a Snohomish - Woodenville route, as the destination attraction would no longer be active. Bummer...
