It departs tomorrow and according to an Amtrak blog post today on the subject it might just be these cars tacked onto the Zephyr. Their previously outlined plans for an 11+ car private train don't seem to match reality. Everyone's favorite transportation leader Rod Diridon is the keynote speaker at their kickoff dinner in SF tonight.
