Why make the cops have to deal with it - they already see enough drama and trauma, to gag a maggot.

Sewerside is actually an incredibly self-centered act, intended to call attention to oneself; at virtually any cost to oneself, and to as many others as possible. Sometimes it is even intended to deeply punish someone they should be loving - again, at absolutely any cost. Thus the more gory and messy and disruptive, the better!

That definitely leaves out rowing way into the ocean to jump into a sharks mouth - no spectacle and thus no publicity.

And before anyone thinks I am heartless and cold, I'm not. But I am concerned more for the innocent people that had no part in it; who will pay and pay and pay for all of their lives, for something they had no part in choosing. That is just plain unjust!

Besides, just as in other sociopathic behaviors, for every one person that does a dirty deed, there are thousands more in just the exact same extreme life stress, or worse; that don't do it, and go on to live a clean life, struggles and all. What accounts for that?

And whatever happened to the notion, that a truly mentally ill person who is totally incapable of impulse control, and thus a danger to himself or others (there ain't that many), should not be confined and supervised in a safe secure area.

Oh nevermind! I just remembered, that was done away with years ago (during the 60s). Apparently, we considered ourselves to be way too politically enlightened, to maintain such a simple civility, in this late day and age.

They should be FREE! So instead, just turn 'em loose into the wild, equipped to deal with the world or not.

Yep - Enlightened indeed!
