**SIGH** To think that up until November of 1959 you could ride a Budd RDC car along that route!

How's this for the ultimate circle trip: Seattle-Vancouver via GN; Vancouver-Winnipeg on CP via Nelson, Manyberries and Assiniboia; Winnipeg-St. Paul on the NP RDC Budd car; St. Paul-Seattle on MILW's Olympian Hiawatha . . .

BTW, Sylvester Stallone's movie "FIRST BLOOD" was filmed extensively in that area near the tunnels and in the town of Hope.
