This was on today's "Trainnews," but I thought I'd put it up here: there's an article that states a company wants to buy all of Amtrak's common stock. Unless I'm remembering incorrectly, I thought that the only Amtrak stock was preferred (non-voting), issued to the railroads in return for their equipment or cash buy-in. Obviously, it's worthless either way, but it does seem odd (or at least a high BS factor).
