Latest from McCloud I have is that a salvage crew started work up there in late July. They are starting by cutting up the various sheds and boxcar bodies but were supposed to move onto most of the remaining equipment on the property.

The last movement I know of happened around July 23 or 24, and it involved the #37 taking two ballast hoppers that have been sold to the Lake Railroad out to Mt. Shasta City. There may be some scrap trains over the next month or two if they decide to send scrap steel from whatever they cut up out by rail.

As per some people who have visited, the Jordan spreader, SD38s, and remaining passenger equipment are safe, but everything else will probably go.
