The 6304 was supposed to be one of the featured pieces at the 2005 NRHS Convention in Portland and was enroute there on a Rails Unlimited special when it developed brake problems in northern California. It was set out there and never made it to the convention.

It's been at CEECO for almost two years, I think. I photographed it there in April 2006 sharing a track with Golden Pacific's ex-RDG 4-8-4 #2100, which was getting some boiler jacket work done.
