Alright, "personal" use for business reasons. We had been talking to the SP about doing the
hydraulic maintenance on the simulator and several hogheads I knew had been through Cerritos just
prior to the announcement of the move. They'd mentioned that the slack run-in action was pretty
severe so the day we went down to talk about the move one of the instructors had our sales engineer in the seat running down toward West Palm when I had him close the throttle. Yup, pretty
severe. So since we were Moog distributors I suggested a "clean and calibrate" to Gary on the
servos, he declined saying that it'd be an issue after the move. I got the feeling he wasn't
thrilled about seeing his baby leave. I've run into him a couple times since and I certainly
wish him the best in his retirement.
