It is an ex-MP caboose that was transferred to the CSP. GNWR got it through the takeover of the line.

As for Locomotives, the GNWR keeps one SW1500 for switching the paper mill, yard, and the port. The down river train to Ayer usually has two GPs on it. Locomotives are rotated between the PCC.
