$1,500 a month? When you go in hospital, do you get satin sheets, and a split of champagne on your dinner tray? Coming up near you is an "exchange," where you can compare your plan with others that might be cheaper. Take advantage of it.

As for the original story, the offender is obviously mentally ill and needs to be institutionalized. But there's no money for that. If, on the other hand, you commit a crime, then they institutionalize you. There's money for that.
