The LA-bound AAPRCO special passed by the Oakland yard about 9am on Friday 10/4. At the time, the Starlight was in the yard having 3 private cars(unrelated to the AAPRCO trip)added, so the special ran ahead of #11 from Oakland on. The second AAPRCO train from Napa, with 7 private cars not going to LA, arrived in the yard about an hour later and terminated there.
