Darrin has been a poor substitute for Ginger, and this is about covering asses for not performing very well and bad past decisions.

This started as a CYA move for spending a bunch of money on the lower segment improvements for a Metrolink service extension that no one had agreed to fund for the now "out' City of Ventura staff. Those improvements had nothing to do with the F&W segment. This may also be about a backroom land deal on the upper ROW. The whole thing seems to stink.

Also, start contacting VCTC Board members, the F&W has been an asset to the County for film productions, including a recently released set of commercials shot on the F&W.
