Mullan Pass, love that place! On July 8, 1997 my wife and I were trackside when the C-SCMCEC exited the tunnel with 13 units: On the point MRL 7557, OWY 9027, BN 9228, BN 1991 (Freedom), BN 9270, mid-train MRL 256, 7558, 7552 and 252, and on the rear MRL 261, 317, 313 and 258. That was one I'll never forget! It was nearly four hours later before all of the helpers returned light eastbound and back down the hill.
