Dear peedeex- Love your varied and compelling posts, especially from far afield.
The Forest of Dean is a remarkably pretty and uncrowded part of Western England, a proper forest it is, too, with very hilly terrain and picture postcard villages, but upon a time was hea.vily mined for iron and quarried, hence this little gem. Only drove through once, alas. Was perfectly charmed thereby.
