Have you ever noticed how frequently you get coupons in the mail for Bed Bath and Beyond? 20% off each item? or $5 off x amount of $ purchase? They always have an expiration date on them but no one ever pays attention to that------I save them up and keep a "supply" in the car so that when I go to BB&B for things, I will always get the 20% off, knowing full well that the 20% off is built right into the "regular" price. Hey. Play the game. I just dipped into my "supply " and handed in a couple that had expiration dates in '10 and '11. The gal who checked us out said that in northern California at least, the expiration dates were never paid attention to. Having said all of that, we were incredibly surprised to see our local Salinas BB&B shut its doors-----they said that the stores in Marina (near Monterey) and Gilroy were sufficient. Frankly, I think they were either shoplifted to death or their prices were too high for our population base and Walmart and Target provided for them at lower prices. Just a guess.
