Gary McClain's Kennedy Train Order

I was walking up to PE class, from which you could look down Second Avenue to the overpass and see the eastbound Chief, lead by a set of F7's, when the announcement came that Kennedy had been shot. It came at the end of a great season for the Dodgers, and the beginning of those awkward teenage years for me.

It was Gary McClain that had the good sense and foresight to ask the operator at Arcadia for a copy of the Kennedy "train order" though.....

As it says on my girlfriend's license plate cover, "what a long strange trip it's been".....
